The Estate name comes from a crater of 220 meters diameter whose origin may have come a meteorite fallen 10 000 years ago. The vineyard spread over an area of 19 hectares is exposed to the south on slopes with salty soil. Rocky, dry grounds, surrounded by the Guarrigue where you can smell thyme. The Vineyard, grown on this typical local soil, gives very fruity wine with an extraordinary strenght. This wine matures in oak barrels and the Millesime 1995 received 2 stars in the guide Hachette 1999.
